I'm curious, I kind of want a spot in a video. Is this link how to sign up for a spot in a video? Also, if one were accepted for a video. Would we pay to get to the location where these are filmed? And how do we choose what video we are in?

i have one f, one b, and two a’s. so i’m neither but it’s the middle of the quarter and i usually push through the end with all a’s so yea i procrastinate and turn in work late but when i decide to do homework i get through it and my grades get back up and it’s all okay my f is because i procrastinate and i’m working on it and my b is because that class is taught in a way i have a hard time learning with and my two a’s are because one is really easy and the other is because if i have the chance to get my gpa higher because it’s honors i’m gonna work my ass of for it all quarter 😂

School today is pretty useless. Hear me out first, school is there for cultivation of interests in learning. Its supposed to inspire and enlighten along with giving the firepower and experience to at least build the infrastructure for what you wish to do in life career aspect wise. Our current day school curriculum doesnt allow such things. Theyve generated this mentality of cookie cutter learning, which means this is the only way to learn a topic and if you dont understand it, guess it sucks to suck, or FITFO ( which is my favorite acronym from the military) it stands for figure it the F**K out. It doesnt always work like this though as you can see through the flunkies. People tend to learn at their own pace and at different intervals, thats what our school system needs to be shaped around. You have dyslexics you have the ADDs you have the illiterates, you literally have groups with all sorts of strengths and weaknesses. School systems need to build off of those and strengthen each and every child to better suit his or her needs. School in my opinion never really helped me advance in my life goals, what really helped me was the real world where i learned through experiences that shaped me better than any text book could.

I feel for the kids who are on the bad grades side. I felt my problem when I was in high school was I did not know why I should get good grades. I knew it was good for me, that it would open opportunity's but I did not have a goal that I wanted the give me a reason to get good grades and it was because I did not know my self, my view of the world was small and I did not know what was possible. I eventually made it to community collage and it really opened my view to the world and I discovered that I can do what ever I want as long as put in the work. from there it was easy to put in the time and get good grades.

Getting straight A is easy At least in America the teacher don't give you max c or say that the exam is worth only b because it's simple or don't give you more than b because that's how they grade In Italy it's impossible to get a perfect mark like when a girl got a perfect 10 in all her greds it was literally national news

For me, school favors those who are smart rather than those with talent sometimes disregarding the potential of students who are not good at knowledge based subjects like math and science which makes me sad.

A lot of my teachers have been horrible, especially my science teachers. I’ve failed so many classes because of the teachers. I’ve asked to switch but I wasn’t allowed to because I’m not a student who does sports. Now I’m struggling in my junior year, I cry so much that I won’t pass. My life these past 3 years has been terrible, I barely get time to breathe but now finish all this homework, plus study, plus do extra credit? I ask for help but don’t get it then I don’t get how to do the homework then I can’t do the tests. I feel like I’m drowning when I just want to try hard.

I got bad grades back when I was in school, because I already knew everything the classes were teaching. So I was extremely unmotivated, I showed multiple times that I knew all of it already, but nothing ever happened. I just remember spending 50 hours a week, waiting or doing absolutely nothing for years. (If you include waiting for bus, and bus travel time, and waiting for school to open etc) Past elementary school Some bad things happened so I didn't care for making friends, also didn't have a phone so I would literally do nothing. Took me a long time to recover from. I still am recovering from it.

so far from my life experience if your a straight a student said person is usually a stick in the mud or just boring to be around flunker could be a dummy or something worse also i know the A students have a fuck ton of debt while flunkers have a fuck ton of things in a gerneral spectrum, everyones uniquely the same some just excel or do worse then other and nadia touched on a good point to just try i notice alot of people don't try anymore like 100% try not half ass it

Honestly schools in America need to be revamped. At my school I been going here longer then any other teacher, we have constant subs and they are failing to give me a education. The schools are broken in America and they are jokes, would should a sub/ a teacher without a teaching license be able to pass or fail me?

With the second question: no, I don't believe anyone can get good grades. Some people don't have the right brain for acedimia, and that's fine. I only have good grades cause I was born being able to grasp certain acedimia concepts. For example: algebra is the easiest thing for me, whilst my classmates barely grasp basic algebra. T Is that because they're lazy? Or that I work my ass off? No. None of those. I was just born, for lack of a better word, better. It's that simple. I guarantee abouts 90% of kids who get good grades don't work that hard for them, they're simply born better than kids who get bad grades. That's just my opinion though, and my experience.

This is an interesting perspective to get from the kids. My parents never helped me with school past elementary bc my mom didnt understand it anymore, and Coopers right its most important to be taught diligence in working. Its hard as hell to have all As, I got easy As in history and english at AP, but had to work hard as hell to get a B in my college prep math and sciences classes. And I worked hard because I wanted to go away for college and so as a senior in college now I have no regrets in the way I worked.

I have an IEP in math, and usually pass with a 70. I’m going into my senior year, still with, on average, a 70. But I have A’s in all my other classes. I know I have common sense and I’m decently book-smart. I know people who strive for straight A’s and their world revolves around that report card, but when it comes to real life, they’re like a rock. Grades really don’t mean that much at all.

But you know what, grades are just numbers, it didn’t even affect my job or my goals in life. I am happy in my job, good paying job for my age actually and I was a flunking student.
