To me one the most heartbreaking parts, is when he walks into Sophie’s house and she’s freaking out and he just mumbles “ I had a bad day” 😔

I didn't realize Arthur was intentionally triggering the flower. I thought it was a symbol that the kids had broken a part of his costume and the water that usually incites joy instead weeped out of him in a really depressing manner. I like my interpretation better.

"He's still Joker. He's still seeing comedy in this moment of pain." By the end of the movie, the chaos is funny, we're fully inside the eyes of Joker. It's an astonishing character study of the descent into madness. #Joker

This movie will go down in history of cinematography for sure. Plus it sets some new standards and raises the bar really high in the era of movies that go blockbuster but only because of some clout and popularity, not necessarily for what we find in the Joker. Chapeu bas.
