How stupid these women are teenagers want to push the envelope everyday. They knew the rules before and did not prepare accordingly. In that case scenario like this happen. You go to tournament and you make sure you have alternatives available at your disposal. Extra uniforms and the like. I want to know what the couch did in this case.

The reason to watch this show is to see how dumb you women are about politics and need to stay in your lane but you're all over the road. Whoopi is the biggest idiot on this show and you guys applause her wacky thoughts it's a world full of idiots and you guys are spreading the wealth of ignorance.

No one should of touched his hair w/out speaking to his parents period. Coaches are at fault for not standing up for this child. It was their responsibility. If it wasn't an issue before why was it this time. That should of been the coaches responsibility to question it and prevented the incident from happening.

Whippy Gobert let me educate you real quick the word dreads come from white people called in our hair dreadful during slaverly, it’s called locks! And you are incorrect when you say it doesn’t matter about the team coming to the kids the defense because they should’ve the coaches should’ve stepped up and said will forfeit they should’ve stood with that young boy!

That young man deserves a lot of credit for keeping his composure. His parents should be recommended in raising a son with great restraint and sportsmanship. The coach, the ref, the "adults in the room"... just pathetic.

This isn't a long hair issue, but a your black and I don't like your afro/locs issue. Joy missed the point. Afro hair is a issue since slavery, part of dehumanizing the enslaved Africans was cutting of their hair that meant a lot in their culture. For some it symbolized strength, or it was a way to show from with tribe you were or if you were married. Till this day black people are still shamed for their natural hair. Black girls and boys that get send back home from school for wearing natural hairstyles or the army not allowing locs, but approving weaves. Black women are still getting fired for wearing their hair natural. Cutting his hair in front of the audience was so dehumanizing. Like an animal are a enslaved person getting "cleaned up" before the auction begins.

This young man would of had to forfeit the match if he did not do it (which means he would have been penalized and loss the match without even trying). Team Work. He Is A Part Of The TEAM. His hair will grow back. But he and everyone else learned something about this young man’s character. FYI: Look at everything you go through (good or bad) as a lesson to be learned. Always Factor in God. Then-Relax-Focus-Learn From It-Grow From It- Don’t waste the experience. I pray that this young man, everyone of his team-mates, and everyone who wittnessed this learn from it (including myself)!

What doesn’t make sense is the rule for the length of the dreadlocks. Were the dreads a violation of regulations or not? Obviously, cutting the dreads in public like that is sickening and humiliating to the student, but should the ref be fired if he was filling the rules?
