First time I saw this video, but bought wireless noise-cancelling headphones back in May. I had a shortlist of four - Sony , Bose, Bang & Olufsen H9i and Bowers & Wilkins PX. The Microsofts were an outsider, but Beats never got a look-in. For design & looks alone, I really wanted to like the B&W PX, but they were uncomfortable on my (large) head. B&O sounded great and had goo controls, but felt weird on my ears. The Bose were good, but felt a bit flimsier, so it went with Sony (What Hi-Fi's Best Buy) and I've been really happy with them.

so I got a free pair of studio beats that came with my new MacBook Pro because of my school discount and I hate them so much, the pairing is kind of annoying because It never seems to connect to the right device and the sound quality is got awful. My AirPods are so much better and I have a friend who owns a pair of Sonys (the ones in the video) and they were superior in every way, I am a big fan of apples products but I must say what a bad job they did with the beats, I got them for free then again so Idrc I mean its a free headset but the music always sounds distorted and I hear buzzing within my headphones just the same as I have experienced with other low quality headsets, vocals are bad and I agreed so much when they said there is NO BASS!

I find it hilarious, Apple wants to enter the audiophile market, their entire line-up just sucks and isn´t appealing to audiophile at all. Take just the shitty iPod with it´s iTunes force, that´s nothing any audiophile would ever want, because you would be bound to a certain library. The crapy audio quality and their audio codec can´t keep up with the other formats and those Creeps headphones............sounds like a joke by Apple, convincing audiophiles.

those Microsoft cans are a joke - maybe the interface is novel, but why bother to touch it since everything else sucks? Can't even pack them up for heebeegeebee's sake. Those Bose do not sound as good as anyone says including these two. AND they compare them to the 1000XM3's? ANY OTHER REVIEW has Sony beating the pants off of those Bose, period. If you prefer their very vanilla / plain / non exceptional sound yea the grandpas choice Bose is for you. Beats are not that bad. Overpriced sure. But they are not that bad. There was a booth at electronics expo for sound that was doing blind tests and you would be so surprised how many users blindly voted beats over the likes of Beyerdynamic and Sennheisers. I'm not as brand biased as most and I was shocked. Just do what I do and laugh at reviews, and test yourself at a store.

I would definitely agree with them on all the things that they said about the Beats. I purchased my Studio 3s off of amazon for $220 and they do work decently well. I have used them on long plane trips and they do block out 90% of the noise while watching movies at about 60% volume. They are very correct in saying that the noise cancellation on its own is fucking awful with nothing to back it up, but if you're listening to something along with it, it is more than sufficient for most people. I have only tried a pair of QC35 once and they absolutely provide a much better noise-canceling experience than the Beats ever could. I'm not sure how many people are paying the full $350 retail for the Beats from Apple, but there are many sellers listing them far under $300 in the low to mid $200 range. I certainly wouldn't have paid the full retail for them if that were my only option. Overall they are less than stellar headphones compared to the competition.

That was the most retarded thing I have ever read. Higher bass for rock? Rock has higher bass extenuating that makes it worse... Also, I use android and windows. And I objectively think about them. You seem like a fanboy without any facts spewing bullshit with terrible grammar. THEY ARE HUGE COMPETITORS SO THEY SHOULD BE IN THIS.

    SOME TECH CHANNELIl y a 3 jours

Thicc Pancake i just don’t think you can compare them because they are for different markets, Beats is heavy on bass for people who like rock, R and B music and nice aesthetically looking headphones whereas Sony and Bose are all about balanced ranges and functionality over aesthetics. It’s like comparing Macs to Windows and iPhones to Android. People who like Android and Windows always like to compare them both purely based on functionality and disregard any artistic UI animations, sounds, clicks of buttons feeling, nice looking phones, stuff like airdrop and the whole very under appreciated ecosystem, I’ve tried Bose and because I’m more of a Surface Headphones or Beats person than Sony or Bose I thought they sounded rubbish, but thats because Mac people think a Windows is rubbish, Windows people think Mac is rubbish, Android hate iPhone and iPhone hate android, there were no points in this video for anything that Beats does good at apart from the nice click feel, I have beats and I do have a complaint, because they’re not fully Apple, but I wish they were aluminium and had more features for Apple a health like heart rate and stuff, but they are perfectly calibrated for Apple Healths hearing health monitoring thing which is recorded in the background how many decibels they are and how many decibels background sound is and how background sound affects volume of headphones

The Beats Studio was passable. But so spendy, and they feel cheap. Apple wanted the technology from Beats. Beats quality has improved but everyone else got allot better. Apple did minimal work if any on Beats. Beats is a lifestyle decision, not a performance audiophile choice. You buy Beats because you like them. The Sony and Bose are comfort and performance and they nailed it. The new Bose may give the Sony a rougher time. The Microsoft interface would rock on the Sony. I won't pound in any manufacturer, but clearly Beats is out in this line up. Sony and Bose are very impressive though the Sennheiser Momentum is quite good too. Their noise cancelling is effective and sound is good, and value competitive. Good times over all for noise cancelling headphones.

Ehh, I prefer Beats. Aesthetics are easily the best. They are great for working out and the sound quality is good. Overall, Beats do feel like a premium product and look like it. If you’re doing office work, than ya Bose or Sony would probably be better. You also gotta look at who is the target audience for the headphones. Beats is mostly towards athletes and Apple users for the easy sync between products.

Durability is also important and I would like to see review on stuff that actually have a good engineering and can last almost forever, most Headphones start getting loose on the hinges and some have so little material to actually withstand the usage and pressure of grabbing by the cups to put them on and off that actually break, worst thing is there are no replacement parts in most of them. Point and case my Sony ZX770, great phones but broke the hinge connection (the rotating part that holds to the headpiece) due to daily office usage only.
