    @Lucca Di Zazzo hello Lucca, maybe you are not used to the position. I guess with time your spine will get stronger. But, I am not a doctor so maybe if you continue with the practice and realize you don't get better or maybe it begins to hurt I don't know I recommend you a chiropractor.

    Hi! Thank you so much for providing these videos for us, I really appreciate it. I just wanted to give some feedback that is hopefully helpful to you and in turn your yoga fam. I find when watching your videos it can be difficult to learn new moves and the flow of them because while you are speaking you pause the movement and talk causing me to pause and not get to learn/see the flow of the movement as a whole. I think it would be really beneficial if you either/both got a model to do the yoga while you spoke through it so that we can see the movement and the breath with it or you could complete the movement with your breath then while in the pose speak to the movement and the tips you have. The commentary is cute and relatable some of it necessary but some really distracts from the practice and the movement. I hope this is helpful for your future videos. Again you are very talented and I appreciate the work you are doing.

    15/05/2019 my day 3.... my birthday, first thing in the morning with my (65 yrs old )mum trying this together, and along with my 18 months son jump and join us on and off with his cuddles, laughters, and some cute attempts to copy what we do on the mat. None of us can do this properly. Due to some health problem, 65 yrs old mum has a bit weaker and slower mobile ability compare others in her age, almost 18 months toddler doesn’t understand what we actually doing here, yet didn’t want to be left out. And me, just start my very first yoga practice since last month. Plus with my son’s loving distraction, none of us can do this properly. But surely all of us had really good time and good feeling during this practice with Adriene. Thank you.

    I did not realize i fidget so much! These first few days have been an awakening for me lol when i first started yoga a few years ago i fell in love with it..but the past year ive fell out of it from stress and a shoulder injury. At first it was really discouraging to not be able to do the poses like i use to. And today i really observed and saw how much my body has changed.its kind of a shock But the more i practice i feel better and just happy that I'm doing this for myself and starting to take care of myself again❤

    Less convo more demonstration. Wasted 15 mins with just 3 positions and breathing exercises. I'm actually looking forward to experience an exercise suited for people like me who doesn't time and expenses for a yoga class. For 45 mins I should have stretched relaxed and toned my body with yoga, preparing for an intense fat burn exercise routine I have in mind. No hate to all her fans out there. All that yapping wasted time atleast for the rest of the video.

    Notes from the field: A lovely Saturday morning here in Austin. I am on day three stretching before we go on a family run. I am doing my deep breathing with my two girls (7 and 9) running around playing/screaming, two ferrets running around wrestling and our old lab mix puppy trying hard not to eat them. My husband is in the open kitchen doing the dishes. On my first cobra stretch I look down to see something under the mat and discover old dried ferret poop.(I store my yoga mat in a corner in a bag with my weights pad, but who knows what goes on in the corner by the couch.) I peel that off and calmly place on the tile floor and ask oldest daughter to come remove it. Later when you are discussing spreading honey on my mid torso I hear something thump next to me. My husband has thrown a bottle of honey at me and says "I'm in". I finish my practice and continue my day in the peaceful way it started. :) PS, the weird structure behind you in the video we have a debate if it is a deer blind :( or a tree house :)

    Adriene, I seem to be having a mat issue. I'm using a mat that is 24" inchs wide but my hands keep finding themselves half off the sides of the mat. (When in downward dog) Any suggestions?

    Your videos are awesome, but sometimes I find it so hard to follow because you make pauses and talk a lot. For example in tadasana today I became absolutely unfocused and started thinking about different stuff that happened today. I had course of yoga basics, so me, and some of us here already knew those things you are talking about. Sometimes we just want to do yoga and breathe. I personally find long talks distracting. Sorry, but I couldn't finish a lesson today. I was irritated and shaky. And I am not alone in this feeling. Hope that tomorrow it will be better, as you said, that it can not be stably good.

    i'm really appreciating the modifications you're providing, adriene. there's no way i can manage the 3-legged dog pose, but with knees down, i'm all over it (literally all over the place - can't believe how much i shake!! i fell out of the side angle stretch later on, and laughed so hard at my shocking balance!!)
