    I’m a fan, and I appreciate all of the comments that talked about the totality of this session (mind and body), but I really needed active yoga today and this 34 minute session has only about 20 minutes of movement. Sitting pose lasted for 6 minutes of talking. It would be great if the notes indicate that.

    I've decided to participate in this journey as I strive to improve my self image and mental health, and I have to say that I love your approach to these practices. Your gentle and forgiving approach to yoga is fantastic. I've taken a couple yoga classes in the past, and neither of those instructors took the time to say encouraging words or to remind us that it's okay to be human.     Your videos are awesome, but sometimes I find it so hard to follow because you make pauses and talk a lot. For example in tadasana today I became absolutely unfocused and started thinking about different stuff that happened today. I had course of yoga basics, so me, and some of us here already knew those things you are talking about. Sometimes we just want to do yoga and breathe. I personally find long talks distracting. Sorry, but I couldn't finish a lesson today. I was irritated and shaky. And I am not alone in this feeling. Hope that tomorrow it will be better, as you said, that it can not be stably good.

    i'm really appreciating the modifications you're providing, adriene. there's no way i can manage the 3-legged dog pose, but with knees down, i'm all over it (literally all over the place - can't believe how much i shake!! i fell out of the side angle stretch later on, and laughed so hard at my shocking balance!!)

    This is my second go at Dedicate, as I had to take a break in January because of sickness. I made it through the first 9 days and knew as soon as I had to stop that I would come back as soon as I built my strength back up. This time around, this particular practice meant so much more than the first time. I started this round of Dedicate tired and over-worked, but persistent and dedicated(!) to show up every day. I can't find the words to begin to describe how yoga has changed my life, and it is all thanks to you Adriene and your channel and videos. You inspire me to keep going, and every day I feel better, stronger and more motivated to be back the next day. So much love. Thank you! Can't wait till day 4 :)

    Hahahaaaa doing this whole 30 days the second time now (i do 2/3 of the vids daily, gonna be a yoga teacher) and one of my feet is ice cold the other is warm as i bend down to touch it XD love this weirdness going on.     I think it's interesting that society doesn't really allow adults to feel as if they're able to have room for failure/ making mistakes. I know that I often pressure myself to do things perfectly. My body isn't quite strong enough yet to do all of these poses and I found that I would mentally beat myself up over it. However, hearing you talking about being able to love yourself through these errors we make was so reassuring. Thank you for being a light.

    my spine has felt so much freer and it has only been 3 days! i think the trouble with how i viewed yoga before was "Oh it's just stretching i can do that any day" but then i would never do it. and the real magic of yoga is that just doing a little everyday takes you so far. so even though it doesn't seem like im doing a lot i am doing something and that is more than i could say before.

    As an avid Adrien fan of course I am doing this 30 series. Although this is definitely not for those who like a continuous flow. Seems like she talks as much, if not more, than the actual movement. For some more experienced it may be frustrating but for beginners I think it is perfect. I did find myself getting frustrated at times when she chattered on for too long about a pose that we were working into and then pause extensively during to redundantly explain more and then the timing for working on both sides would seem uneven. I have some physical limitations due to health issues but have always found a decent amount of benefit from yoga. It was a lot more difficult to hold poses for uneven times (ex: she starts to explain a pose to move into and then stops half way through it several times to go back to a point she's already made several times) or extended times while she explained things at length. It did certainly test my patience and remind me to bring myself back to present and focus which is always good!

    Hi Adriene, I'm very thankfull that all these videos are here for free so that we can practice any time we need. I had a hard time for this begining of the year this year. I've been feeling very tired which caused me to be more anxious. Also, I couldn't start the programm when it came out because fell in the stairs I hurt my back... So I'm slowly catching up now and it's not easy because if all the anxiety that has been growing and growing, but if helps me a lot ! Thank you

    I've just started my journey and I couldn't be happier about it! Today was my first time doing tree pose and omg it's a lot harder than it looks. I was so shaky and wobbly even though I barely lifted my foot off the ground since this is completely new to me. BUT, I'm happy and proud that I took this time today and that I tried something new.     Day 3... After missing two days of this series (I still did morning yoga on Friday and bedtime yoga yesterday). Today I observed... a lot of anger. With each pose and each breath I felt it and to be honest, I wasn't fully present through this. The last two days have been tough. On Friday I was in a very minor car accident. It snowed (it rarely snows where I'm from) and I slipped into a ditch. Physically, I am fine. Mentally and emotionally, I am shaken up. Despite the fact it was minor it added a layer of anxiety to the past two days. After someone pulled me out of the ditch and I got home, and then tried to venture out a few hours later to get to work (even though I'd be 4 hours late) and I find out I did more damage than initially anticipated. I could continue with the play-by-play but long story short, I have been stressed. I did it though and I made it and I observed that it was not anxiety I have been feeling today but anger. Hopefully that recognition will let me release and when I come back tomorrow, or maybe it won't be until day 6 or 7, I will be able to reconnect with my body and experience how amazing I felt after day 2s practice. Time will tell. Thank you for these, Adriene, and for your kind words through the practices.

    "If you fall, we'll catch you. Don't worry", gave me chills and tears. I have panic disorder and mountain is the most challenging for me. I have a hard time walking or standing in place because my body is going nuts all the time. I have many corrections to make and one of them is not to be a puppet to my minds demands/thoughts. I can gently acknowledge the urge to alleviate the tension, then without force continue to do what i would like to do. Im getting better at it. A lot less compulsive behavior and a lot more connection. Love to Adriene! Love to you all!

    I'm doing dedicate for the second time now. Two observations that may be helpful: 1) the amount of talking between/in poses decreases substantially after either this practice or the next one; and 2) interestingly, on my second go around now, I found the talking did not bother like it did the first time through bc I could hold the poses so much more easily that I just concentrated on the poses and was not waiting to move on.     Absolutely normal. Also, as a note of encouragement, I had similar problems to you on this practice when I did Dedicate in January. I decided to do it again, and it was amazing how much stronger I was in the poses. This is one of the longer and more challenging practices for many, so I hope you don't give up. Most of the practices are shorter and with more flow, i.e., you won't hold the poses as long. This practice is great in reminding us how important foundation is. I'll guess that if you mark this practice and return to it after you finish Dedicate you'll surprise yourself at the progress you made. Enjoy your practice!

    Thank you Adriene! I usually do whatever video of yours catches my eye that day, but I just started Dedicate as a personal challenge. I'm glad I did. I got off work a while ago, feeling really tired. Halfway through my whole body was fatigued and all I wanted was to quit the video and flop down on the floor, but I thought "What would happened if I finish?" So I stuck with it, and after the warrior poses this beautiful emotional release bubbled up! I've been holding onto a lot of stress and tears started flowing! I feel great! I also noticed that my tree pose was really stable and I haven't done tree in months. Thank you for doing what you do. Namaste.

    Thank you for the awesome lesson/practice. While sitting on the floor, my cat decided to sit in my lap so I definitely had something nice and soft to rest my hands on. Change it up a little from palms resting on my knees :D
