So I had some friends in the grade above me who went to see this movie on the weekend, and they absolutely hated the film because of what this trailer showed them, also they were all high amid the feature. One of them claimed it was the worst movie they had ever seen, another wanted to write hate mail to the creators. Then I went to go see the film 2 years later entirely expecting to see what made their view on it so exasperated. I didn't. I absolutely adore this film. It's in no way one of the greatest horror films but what it can directly show contemporary audiences is that of what the genre of horror is actually about. Horror does not aim to scare you, horror is horror; it's supposed to shine a light on completely out of reach circumstances apart from our normal lives, if artistic it can be to represent something. What, for me, makes a good horror film is not a scare I endure during the film, it's a series sequences or images that you can take a step back and directly say: "That's horror."

*The Bread is for My Humility and Surely it is Lowly and Served With Rotten Fish* Envision this. There is a scribe amongst other scribes. He does not necessarily enjoy his work, or really understand how others do or how they understand. To me, God would be this scribe as many others who are Christians become. Then in His frustration and ignorance, he casts out the other scribes in fear. The scribes are like the Devil's angels cast into Pandemonium... To God, this new creature, and of a lesser-finery, and us now Peers in a burning lake. Shall we dare to call it "Pandemonium?" For, we found His own scribal pen does not butter unto his logic or even unto other's, and enraged, he cast us out, perhaps, to even the score in blood and to be writ by others more worthy of the deed. And, we are all forever unworthy, are we not, and bound to understand by his gross perception as to why even as the bound dialectic is shared and summoned in privacy? And, this disgusting share of morality is their Book, for they are like knights and need for Erasmus? For, we must understand there are lesser men, yes, and lesser times from them, and he would be their tutor, and captain, and hope. The bread is the humility and the fish is the people but there will be no butter because it is ours, and who wastes good butter on rotten loaves where one is sure to die anyway? I declare, there will be no butter for rotten loaves and I will keep a cat for the penicillin. Then should I dare to cast aside fine verbatim and captain a chair for those fine loaves, and all would butter and scribes like a fine etching, and there would be no blood and thievery about it? And, He would confront us, again and again, in our Evil, and become more and more His enemy for it. And, would I witness the smashing of plates and the counting of rations of beer and draw lines in the sand to join them, forever a lowly friend and by His side, we would lead them by the hand to where we were before? No, I think think this time He shall make a chair of His own and learn to sit. For, there are countless diagrams and explanations of the stink in Kabbalistic symbology to mask the foul odour and we would share it together in one banal finality, then learn to measure anew the sciences and redecorate the world. And, SURELY it is FILLED with MAYFLIES and SALMON EGGS and that is HIS CURSE UNTO ME! They call forth laymen. Would we do more than butter the fish and exclaim the fall? Sure, the sciences are a fine butter and the maths, also but you cannot see past the grave unto this flesh transmigration and reincarnation or resurrection for its banality and truth. Because of their power, they would eliminate the lesser rung of a ladder they no longer need. The logic becomes clear with their butter, yes, but this awful truth returns anyway after a course of time. Who would deny the one commonality of Hell is that of power and riches and truths, and who makes that choice but a fate we cannot see or control except through our language which is best exclaimed formally? This truth cannot be eliminated from the earth because it is inherent in its people. Hell is not an easy lot to cast with and its filled with scribes and intellectuals, kings and aristocracy. As I can plainly see from here, the locks of Heaven are just as banal as the courses and causes of Hell. The expressions of your book system are already absolutism. What is this desk or page they cannot tooth? And, they do not expire overnight but take a lifetime to enjoy and still this existential threat returns. We gain a world and lose some soul, yes, but eventually isn't that your final cause as a Christian knight? We lose our soul with hard work and a paradise gets us there, so what are waiting for? In short, the Bible is bad work. It's gross, about the people, and our humility towards them as those with understanding. Any church scribe or monk, or whatever, is required these humilities and time with the Book. This gets them away from quality verbatim and studying and they are denied greater rungs on the ladder. So, in today's world in America, why not supersede them and just do it yourselves? You cannot expect the world to study or even enjoy it. Just read Erasmus, which is the forming of the Protestant Revolution. It's all about how Christians are dirty and need to respect the learned and the aristocracy. Just get over it. We cannot disprove an afterlife we cannot see and who said God was the creator, anyway, and not just an aristocracy in an afterlife? Why do these elitist books only exist in an aristocracy? Because people do not take the time to order or study them is all and they don't really believe they pay off until its too late. The scholars will see that your pen doesn't pay off and they will reject you for it because you are simply trying to buy time and stuff that has no meaning for you. Sexuality is enjoyment but there is increasing evidence as to its danger and that is a curse from God as I see it and fruit as Tantalus could not reach. Whatever. People steer themselves and make their own choices. I think what they're getting at is the that the rungs of the Christian ladder are both dirty, sometimes false, and dangerous to all but the highest on them and even then they supersede the rungs anyway, which is true but the ultimate cause of religion is that of burial and the afterlife and a small understanding of life for those on the lesser rungs. The question is what will you propose to replace these truths with, and also, you can not disprove God's existence any more than you can prove it, but I guarantee you that the church holds evidence not available to common understandings about these. Now, when you ask God why a third of the scribes have fallen and he doesn't know but calls it an evil and proceed to destroy them again and again. What is the true nature of their fall? -Franzmus, the Layman and the Butteriest Pen
