I enjoy working out, people that don't share in that wouldn't understand, that getting workout equipment can be as exciting as other gifts. If my husband got me one of these I'd be excited. I wake up at 5 to run & take a shower before I take my kids to school. It's not something special that I do. Others do the same, but for those that don't, don't understand. There was nothing wrong with the commercial.

The only thing I didn’t like about the other ad was that it’s called “The Gift That Gives Back”. It quite literally implies that the he got her the bike because he knows he’s going to like the results. Like, “oh okay I’m soo in need of losing weight, let me just get on this bike for YOU so I can make YOU feel better about MY body!” I’m not a feminist or anything but that’s pretty misogynistic if I’m just stating my opinion.
