Does it have like secure folder like from Samsung? Where you can move apps that needs more security like bank apps, even pictures or other files that you want to be more secure, that will ask you a password or in Pixel 4 / xl case face unlock.

Imho, i dont think they blew it at all. I used to be an apple guy. Ever since they first launched. Till one day i tried an S5 when those came out and i was hooked. Then went to the note series and i have a hard time finding another phone like the note series. Least for me, anyway, i use those phones like a workhorse and the whole art stuff etc so i actually need it. I just always come back to the note series. The only thing id say i wish they had on it or is missing, is 90hz refresh. However, it isnt gonna be a deal breaker. Better or for worse im sure there was a reason it was not part of it and Thats okay. So i guess depending on who you are, like you, you say they blew it, but in my usage, nope, they did not. Not at all. :)

200 times per second (Hertz), faster than we can hear? I thought he was an audio _engineer._ lol The upper ranger of our hearing is 20kHz (20,000 times per second), meaning we would hear a 200Hz hum/whine through anything that is refreshing at that rate. But with it being the feedback mic that refreshes at that rate, it's all good; no issues there since it's too fast to hear a volume shift, updating every 5ms. Though, if background noise changes a lot, you might get a whine every time as the feedback circuit levels out, since the volume might change at a regular rate, therefore oscillating, until reaching equilibrium. But it may be done better than this, and cause no whine whatsoever; this is just my observation of the what-ifs.

I have a confession to make 🙁..... First off, I didn’t watch this video for weeks now, I thought you were going to diss the phone. At that time I didn’t own it yet. I was giving a thought to replacing the Note 10 Plus which was a backup to the Pro Max. I’ve always despised Android, but despite my disdain for Android for whatever reason I’ve always had a Galaxy Note (had them all). I was tired of the 10 Plus, like I said Android was a problem. But I still needed an Android toy...funny isn’t it? We humans have issues 😂. I just couldn’t pick any shiny device from China or One Plus whatever. Nokia was definitely out of the question. I seriously considered the Fold thing from Samsung. But it would have been another Note (or 2 Notes 😂). Then I thought...why not the new Pixel? I wasn’t really enthused about that proposition. It was another Android p.o.s I thought. 99,9% of reviews of the phone wasn’t good. I got the impression this was the biggest shit that happened in 2019. Out of the blues it clicked for all made sense. If all the popular FRreporter reviewers (wankers) had nothing good to say about this phone, it must be my phone. It must be the phone I wanted. Without testing it in the stores I ordered it. Since I’ve got it, it hasn’t left my sight...(always like that when the toy is new). Not really, it’s just different. It’s simple. It’s understated. It’s fluid. It’s a beast. It’s so me. And the camera?! Forget about it.. Got it setup with a Moment 18mm Lens. Forget about it. This isn’t a phone for everyone. It’s my iPhone from Google that runs Android. I think I can live with that. Can’t complain. Nice review though.

II have the Pixel 2 XL & 4 XL I don't have any problems with either. I've done my own non professioinal or consumer reviews and would like to make a few comments about both phones. Was there a flaw on the screen on the 2XL. maybe but I hardly noticed it. you really had to look for it and angle it correctly to see it. But in normal use it was clear and fine. The Camera, Phone speakers were great there were no dropped calls (that no one cares about) the camera worked great and the video was good to. What’s most important to me both phones have great sound quality while on the phone and speaker phone In regards to the 4. I truly love the phone. Yes I had some "software issues" All of which were resolved when I called in. for example extended google assistant doesn't work with the gestors turned off, (or isn't on by default) or the gboard (or new talk to text) had an issue which I fixed on my own by getting rid of an update. I'm confident all these 2 items and maybe more will be resolved. Motion sense is a little rusty but it does work at times but if it doesn't I change the song, I use the switch on my steering wheel in my car or on the phone. Are these flaws sure, to me they are minor. I am concerned about one thing the screen coding going bad but I have a screen protector on so I shouldn't have a problem, but I can see that to be a real concern. but all in all the benefits outweigh the bad I love the camera especially on the 4xl my Bluetooth works great, the phone reception and clarity is great ( I'm hard of hearing) it works very fast even on 6 gigs of ram. For some 64 gigs of ram maybe a bit small and I agree. but on my pixel 2 (which I had for a year I'm only at 35% used and on the pixel 4 40% used. I still have 25.90 gigs to play with (thats a lot of pictures, mp3's and games. As far as Samsung the last one I had was the note 5 to be honest I dropped calls and as time went on it lagged. I didn't even use most of the bloatware I don't need a heart monitor. that’s what I see a cardiologist for. if I was afraid of getting a heart attack, I'd trust a heart monitor from a Certified medical supply store more than a monitor on a Samsung phone. I mean come on already. Also the Samsung radio's for phone reception at times dropped calls from what I hear they have improved but the earpiece for hearing the calls were terrible for me. So for me to show off that I have a $1000 phone with the name Samsung on it with a worthless heart monitor and bad sound quality for talking on the phone is not worth it for me. To sum this up rationally every computer device will have flaws in software. Windows, Android, Linux. etc To be honest that concept stinks but that is the nature of the beast. I personally believe if it was 1950-1980 there would be a lot of less issues because things were sold after being tested a lot more because the quality was much more important back in those days. But in any case As a phone I think the pixel is terrific It's a phone I don't drop calls the sound quality is great speaker phone is mega loud Bluetooth and wi-fi is flawless the screen is great and to be honest the battery is pretty good on the xl I can surpass a day on this phone. Yet I don't play video games or watch tv all day either. but I do have it on all day and I listen to music at times and may play one game but over all I have no complaints. I agree the battery should be bigger if there is a screen coding issue that needs to be addressed. perhaps the storage needs to be increased especially if you store videos. Other than that along with the old Motorola droids the pixel 4 rates as one of my favorite phones. I will say this this phone may not have as many functions as the samsung phones but what this phone does have I find useful and actually allows me to enjoy the phone. Most of the gagets Samsung has is useless to me.

Why bother with a pixel device anymore? They are crappy phones, especially for the money. The Nexus phones used to be good phones for the money, even though they were a little buggy. (Except the 6p. It was junk.) You might as well stick with OnePlus if you're after a budget device.

I love your reviews and this one has solidified my want to stay with the Google family. My Pixel 1 (still functioning perfectly!!!) is finally being laid to rest with software updates so I need to upgrade and was wondering if I should splurge on the 4 versus an earlier model. After buying the Pixelbook last month I want to keep things streamlined, and this review was exactly the type of honesty I needed. It is an anti-christian, anti-semitic as the phrase was taken and modified from idea that Hilter saw the old testament as entirely filled with inaccuracies and had it removed because it was taken from the Torah. In which he also saw the Jews the same way. Wearing the shirt is Nazi propaganda.

I ordered the 4XL and within a week the camera would vibrate the entire phone when launched and it looked like the phone was under water with blurry camera view. After hours with support, they asked to send the phone back as defective. BIGGEST mistake Google made was selling off Motorola right before the pixel launch. Motorola has the most sound technology and decades of hardware technology which Google could have used and imoroved upon instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

I have had all the pixel phones. Having the pixel 4 now, I am getting longer battery life on it than the other generations. I easily get through a day and more. The bad reviews are garbage, cause it's a great phone. Far as xl size phones, as an every day phone, most people I know want smaller not bigger. Also not sold on edge to screens, other than looking cool, the amount of mistouches, typos, pocket dials, accidental app opening etc happens all the time, because you can hold the phone without touching the screen somehow. I listen to complain all the time. Just saying.
