I think the entire movie was a DELUSION (which psychologically is very different from a fantasy) in the Jokers head and he was talking to the psychologist from the end over a period of some time. He had delusional thoughts about his rise to fame and a symbolic figure in his own gritty, dark, twisted way which includes getting fired and beat up because all he knows is pain (“I’ve never had a happy thought a day in my life” why would his delusions be any different). All of these thoughts and stories he tells the psychologist are so real to him that he’s already the ‘Final Form Joker’ in his mind so he’s able to kill the psychology (bloody shoes/ clothing and a calm demeanor after murder like in delusions) eventually escapes Arkham and start his real life as Joker.

Something I found interesting is that at the end of the final scene in the Arkham hospital he starts singing the song in the background: isn’t this breaking the 4th wall, Deadpool style? Does he knows it’s only a movie/comedy? I found it quite intriguing

Let’s get the facts straight, Andy wanted to bring Woody with him to college, and didn’t want to give Woody to Bonnie. When he actually did give Woody to Bonnie, Bonnie promised she’d take good care of Woody (as Andy said). In toy story 4, Bonnie straight up FORGETS about Woody, and leaves him in the closet collecting dust balls, and would rather play with a spork that was dragged out of the trash. *-2019 everyone*

It has to be further in the future, after what he did. Look at his sideburns in the last scene. He has quite a few grey hairs. Which he doesn’t have during the earlier portion of the movie. I really hope this is setting up a sequel. Pattinson’s Batman can go against him, Phoenix kills a young Robin(Tim drake, or Jason Todd) robin comes back and kills Phoenix’s Joker, then becomes the Jared Leto joker, and Pattinson becomes Ben Affleck’s version of Batman. Just make it all line up

Most of those events can be explained he over powered Alfred because he does have mental issues, people with mental issues have been known to display abnormal strength. The cops not noticing the joker enter the charity event can be chalked up to the riot taking place and Murray taking a shot at a troubled comic while tasteless isn't far fetched look at americas funniest home videos, lastly the joke wasn't what we percieved as the movie but bruce wayne becoming Batman

    RESTINPEACEIl y a 6 heures

What if the ending is a flashback to before the story starts? He could've been planning the whole thing in his head from the mental asylum, that's why when asked "what's so funny" or whatever the psychiatrist says, he replies "you wouldn't get it" because it hasn't happened yet. The final image of him walking down the hallway could be how he escaped from the asylum, considering there's no way someone with his mental state would be discharged. I don't believe this but i think it's a cool theory lmao

I'm speaking more about the traditional Joker from the comics here, but I absolutely love the fact that he is just super-crazy and can't clearly remember his origin. To quote Joker in The Killing Joke: "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another. If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice. Ha Ha Ha!" This, and the unknown status of his true name, gives mystique and a mythical element to his already badass character. Joker is the best villain of all time!!! 🃏

Yall missed the one that I noticed right away and was quite honestly my favorite Easter egg in the whole movie. When Joker is taken into custody and riding in the back of the cop car looking out the window it's a nod to Ledgers Joker when he was doing the same thing. They were both driving through a burning city with red and blue light flashing on his face. The major difference though is that the images are flipped, Ledgers Joker was hanging out the right side of the back window while Fleck was on the left, also Ledger was outside the car while Fleck was inside the car which could represent the fact that Fleck was captured and defeated while Ledgers Joker was free after just escaping from custody which is represented by Ledger hanging out the window and Fleck actually being in the car. This scene also could've hinted at the fact that Fleck was about to get freed from custody, just like Ledger's Joker was. I very great and completely Easter Egg, Hint, Callback, and Inspiration all in one.

I think General Ross play a role as founder of the Young Avengers. Maybe he secretly keep and take care a son of Betty and Banner who will become Hulking of MCU. His grandson not discovered yet in MCU but we already know Betty and Banner had intimate relationship through Incredible Hulk movie. Its all connected..

  77. author

hmm, didn't Ross eventually become Red Hulk when he was disgraced, eventually faking his own death? Perhaps Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers might be setting up the chain for potential acquisition of the Hulk franchise...

When I was watching the film, I didn't believe the Murray murder because of what followed, which was nothing. Even years ago, those studio shows had security, and we should have seen them either going after Arthur or helping the audience escape, but we saw neither because it didn't fit with Arthur's fantasy. I guess call this negative evidence. Once I started doubting the reliability of the narrator, I couldn't help question whether or not he really even killed his mother. It seemed as though every time Arthur/Joker was a true protagonist moving the plot forward, he was fantasizing. Now I did think he killed the three on the subway (and it may be why he was in Arkham in the first place) but notice he does that out of fear, the first two completely in self defense, the third perhaps because he doesn't want to be identified or have someone seeking vengeance on him. I also thought he really killed his former coworker at the apartment, basically because of the state of depression he fell into and the weird moment of freeing the midget. So my thought is that he went to Arkham for those four murders, and fantasized the rest of the movie. His state of mind when he takes any action seems to be the best indicator of whether something really happened or not.
